Alimak Hoists on Gateway Bridge II, Brisbane, QLD, Australia
Leighton’s Abigroup Joint Venture (LAJV) was awarded the AUD$1.88billion contract by Queensland Motorways to design, construct and maintain the Gateway Bridge Upgrade project. With the official start of works in March 2007and the expected completion date is scheduled for June 2011.

Triton Now Owns Alimak Hek!
Stockholm, January 17, 2007 – Triton entered into an agreement with
Ratos and 3i in December 2006 to acquire the Alimak Hek Group. The deal
is now completed and Alimak Hek is thereby owned by Triton.

Alimak Hek acquires the assets of rental operator Conrent!
Stockholm, 11 July, 2006 – Alimak Hek has acquired Conrent’s rental assets in Australia, a leading rental fleet operator, from Coates Hire Limited. The acquisition makes Alimak Hek the leader in the hoist and mast climbing work platform market in Australia.
