Over 40 years´ bridge experience

In the mid-1960s the Älvsborg Bridge was the first bridge to use Alimak Rack & Pinion hoists, a technology pioneered by Alimak just a few years earlier. Since then, Alimak construction hoists and permanent lifts have been used on many of the most spectacular bridge projects around the world, providing us with a vast storehouse of experience in the movement of men and materials on bridge projects. This experience enables our engineering team to offer considerable assistance to contactors already at the planning stage.
