Alimak Hek for the Power industry

In coal-fired, gas-fired, combined cycle, refuse-fired, nuclear, hydroelectric, wind, solar or any other type of power plant there are always various needs for vertical access transportation of personal and material.

For more than four decades Alimak Hek has serviced the power industry with safe, productive and economical solutions, from space saving small passenger elevators in narrow paths to solving multi-tonnage lifting demands without the need of a shaft.

Why an elevator?

  • Increased plant output
  • Improved efficiency
  • Increased availability
  • Reduces operating costs to a minimum

It is paramount to identify potential sources of failure to provide preventive maintenance, and, should an un-planned production stop occur, respond rapidly to the failure. Installing an elevator is often the least expensive way to decrease down-time.

Alimak Hek also supports in the construction of power plants with temporary vertical access solutions.
