ALIMAK SE-Ex
The new explosion protected lift range for hazardous areas
Built on the experience gained from thousands of installations worldwide, the new ALIMAK SE-Ex is designed to deliver on your access requirements and heavy transport needs in hazardous environments. The ALIMAK SE-Ex sets a new benchmark for the safer, efficient vertical transportation of personnel and material on derricks, hull columns, platform modules, oil refineries, LNG terminals, chemical plants and other similar industrial environments.
2006 sees us launch a new explosion protected lift range, the ALIMAK SE-Ex. The new range features standard build components built to the same quality standards as the ALIMAK SE range, but re-engineered to meet the uniquely challenging demands of the offshore and petrochemical industries. The ALIMAK SE-Ex range enables safer transportation of workers and materials in potentially hazardous areas.
A new standardized concept
The new ALIMAK SE-Ex lift range is based on a modular design enabling specific customer requirements to be met by using proven standard components. The system provides an infinitely variable range of lifting heights, car sizes and capacities capable of meeting the most stringent specifications.
The ALIMAK SE-Ex range offers lifting capacities of between 400 and 1,600 kg and has direct-on-line motor control. The SE-Ex range is available in 15 car sizes ranging between 0.91 x 1.30 m and 1.56 x 2.21 m. It travels at speeds of 0.4–0.6 m/s. The new advanced Alimak Lift Control system ALC-II ensures both efficiency and ease of use.
